Booking a campsite at Cape Vidal is handled by our reservations team. Send us your dates using the enquiry form on this site, or phone or email us, and we will come back to you with what is available.
Sites are limited and busy in summer and school holidays, so plan ahead.
Arrive & check in
Drive to Bhangazi Gate, which is open from 05h00 to 19h00 between November and March, and from 06h00 to 18h00 between April and October. Pay your park entry at the gate and follow the road to Cape Vidal. Check-in is from 14h00 to 16h00.
What to bring
Bring your ID or passport, your booking confirmation and everything for a self-catering camp: tent or caravan, bedding, cooking gear, food and drinking water. No pets are allowed.
Electric plug points at each site are rated for lights and charging rather than heavy appliances, so leave high-draw items such as kettles at home and lean on gas for cooking. The camp shop is currently closed, so plan to arrive fully stocked, ice included.
