Livingstone’s turaco
Livingstone’s turaco
For birders the Eastern Shores are a treasure box, and Livingstone’s turaco is one of its most sought-after residents. Watch for the flash of one crossing the canopy of the swamp and dune forest.
When and where to see them
Work the forest canopy on a slow forest walk around camp. An early start is worth it: the dawn chorus alone is worth setting an alarm for.
